Having created the final mold in the CAM software, we digitally import the files to the board computer of CARVER, so that it can carve with an accuracy of 0,4 mm.
We place a block of special polyurethane at the central vertical axis with a rotating basis, and moving cutting tools create the final cast.
A special thermoplastic material, hypoallergenic for the human body, is applied on the cast, then placed back in the carver-robot, where a second cutting phase takes place and the original form of the brace is created.
With the CAD-CAM software of high accuracy and reliability we can design and edit the body digitally, without any deviations, in three dimensions.
It offers the opportunity to design, modify and correct the initial model, using special tools for cutting, smoothing and filling. We import the anthropometric data of the brace’s user (x-rays and photos) in the software and in the three-dimensional model, and we configure the pressures and reliefs of the brace.
We can intervene in the spine rotation and we can correct tilts at the shoulders and pelvis.
Finally, having created the detailed, personalized and customized final mold, it is then processed by CAM software and we move on to the last stage of cutting
